Just took off from Mumbai on my way to the Maldives and the clouds have a horrible twinge to them, does anyone have clouds like this?, it seems they’ve got horrible small pixels coming from the side as I go past them and look like shooting stars:
It’s only today I’ve experienced this, they’ve been fine since today, my usercfg file has been changed to the following to try to get rid of the pixel clouds:
my clouds have always done that. You can decrease its noticeability by increasing render Scaling but Ive never been able to get rid of it.
Its mostly noticeable when turning or turning your viewpoint, correct?
I do turn my viewpoint a lot so that’s why this is surprising I’ve never experienced this before but I suppose if it’s normal then I’ll wait to see if any future updates can get rid of it
Interesting find, maybe these strange pixels are related to jet engine simulation ? It’s only near the engines these square pixels become visible, I enlarged it.. in green ok zones, in red the issue
Good idea to submit it. Just thought of the strange thing you show the intake of the engine, not the outlet.
This is what outlet heat does on the ground.. guess clouds can’t handle the jittering filter.. notice the anti aliasing issues.. have you tried putting anti-aliasing off. before taking the screenshot ?
Thx for confirming anti-aliasing.. If you sit in a GA propellor aircraft, same issue: you see the scenery through a running propellor, at high Rpm. TAA cannot handle that, because it tries to blend things between frames.. it goes to fast for TAA.. when there is anything behind that, it will be distorted digitally. Very annoying.
