msfs-2024. When I start a flight with any aircraft at any airport, the plane is surrounded by green flourescent artifacts. They look like they are showing the airflow from front to back of the aircraft. I do not have ‘show thermals’ switched on. I did try to switch that off and on to see if it was the cause but the issue remains.
…Aerodynamic visualization(CFD) OFF
Hi. I don’t see the menu Item you mention. I have Assistances, and then sub headings of Piloting Assistance, Visual assistance etc. but can’t find the menu items you mention?
my bad:
Many thanks. I have been pulling my hair out. That has nailed it!
Does anyone know what these strange, laser-like streaks in the sky are and how to get rid of them?
They start building up within minutes of launching a flight i MSFS2024 and eventually fill the sky.
Thanks for any suggestions.
I believe it is in settings/general/flight interface. Turn off Aerodynamic Visualization
Yes, I found that before and already have Aerodynamic Visualization turned off. But it didn’t make any difference. Maybe I’ll try settng it to On and see what happens (totally illogical of course).
Could be the thermals on the weather menu.
FYI, for those that come across this topic later on, there is another topic about these “blue lines” here:
Yes that did it. Turned off thermals on the weather menu.
