i am turning on the autopilot on boeing 747 and instead that it will be active with lnav it is with hdg and is not turning off, is there something that i have to do to make lnav to work
solving problems but they are giving us more, always bugs on every software?
tell me with details please what i need to do to work the lnav

for some reason that i don’t understand why the mcp when i press the autopilot master button to turn the autopilot on i will see pressed and not be able to dissangage hdg lnav is not working and the flight plan that i had put on the fmc is not followed please somebody tell me in details what i need to do so lnav will work

Often this will happen if you are not close enough to your LNAV path for the AP to engage.
Press LNAV and it will arm, then use HDG mode to fly yourself on an intercept course.
Alternatively, use a DIRECT TO towards your desired waypoint then hit LNAV.
please explain me with more details what to do, if you said direct-to tell me how to do that
Watch the “Delete a Waypoint” chapter where he moves a waypoint to the top of the fight plan and then executes.
i cannot put a crs in nav rad and i don’t know why they give us this problem now how i will use ils if i don’t put a course first?
no lnav to work and no course additionally what a hell they did again with this last update
before there was activate before you press exec now there is no activate and i don’t see any flightplan on the right panel of the cockpit

Maybe you should mention what aircraft you are talking about at the very least.

Very easy - under nav rad next to ILS you enter it in the format fff.ff/ccc
f being the frequency and c being the course.
now in the lnav is not activating after takeoff what is wrong can somebody explain me on details what i have to do and how to perform in this latest update we have the direct-to?

I think this is the third post in the last 24 hours asking nearly the same questions. Are these other threads needed? Going to be hard to help if you just keep opening new threads.

This is very basic piloting info. I think you should try flying something smaller before the 747 and learn the basics.
everything was fine before there was no problems like that something they change with the last update
It really sounds like you need to watch some tutorials.
But if you want to get help, don’t make people guess and suck the information out of you. Provide as much detail as possible.
Show a screenshot of your ND/FMC/MCP. Explain in detail what you expect to happen and what didn’t happen.
To everyone reading this it sounds like you just want to moan and got no clue what your doing and can’t even be bothered to write proper sentences. So why should anyone use their personal time to try and help you?

Hi, sorry to go off topic but i am having an issue with my route on the 787. When entereing my departure and arrival destinations, the VFR map does not plot my route. As a result, when deploying autopilot it does not follow the route and takes me back to departure airport (IFR map does show route on the map but again, autopilot doesnt follow the flight path. Is this because i need to enter my flight plan in the CDU? How do i do this please?
