Hi Everyone!
For some reason when in full screen or windowed mode and MFS is the main window, the traffic on vatsim doesn’t move. I can see and hear all other pilots and their aircraft, but they just stay still.
When I bring another window into the foreground, i.e a browser or vpilot client and click on it, the traffic in MFS suddenly starts moving again. I can see aircraft taxiing etc.
I’ve checked around online and havent found anyone with the same problem, which is weird. I’ve tried re-installing vpilot and running the sim and vpilot in admin mode but no joy. I’ve also disabled the AI and Windows Live traffic in MFS as usual.
I’ve tried checking and unchecking the box in the vpilot client that keeps vpilot on top too, to see if there was some sort of problem there but it didn’t help.
Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated.
Regards
James
I don’t have that problem and I honestly have no idea how to fix it, but your best bet is the vPilot forum here
Try running both MSFS and vPilot in admin mode. I’ve not heard anyone that shares your problem through any of the VATSIM services… I’ll give the vPilot dev a ping
Thank you for your help. I have since fixed the problem. I found the fix by accident after trying everything I could read online. I went to Flight Sim Settings, clicked windowed mode, then back to full screen. The moment it went back to full screen the traffic was moving again.
Cheerio
Thank you for your help! Vpilot forums were the first place I went. I have actually fixed the issue now, or at least it has gone away. I had to cycle through windowed mode and full screen in MFS settings. After that, no issues. Maybe I found an unknown bug though
thanks again for the help, it’s greatly appreciated. Take care
