My condolences to those who were set on downloading/playing today. I’m glad I sat this one out. Sad to say, I honestly saw this one coming, not that it wasn’t expected… well, the community expected it. Maybe not those in charge. My condolences to the community managers too. This can’t be a fun day for anyone.

From what i understood from the stream is that application is not able to process huge amount of requests being asked to database. So the introduced the queues. Restart of the service is a workaround. Easing the load is the solution.
I finally got in, Flew around in 172 in VR in Southern California it seemed kind of foggy, and not as clear as MSFS 2020 in VR, which is still way less clear than Aerofly FS4. I tried the new pilatus Jet, but all the interior lights on dash were really washed out, like too bright. Could not figure out flight plan, then crashed to desktop.
Trees looked better, but not all that impressed so far, Then after my crash to desktop, I could not get back in. I wish I would of tried it on Game pass, I would of skipped the Aviator version, Did not even seem like many planes were available yet.
Im bummed out, and such high hopes., Anyway to return our purchase….?

unfortunately I haven’t been able to get in since 11:00 am CST this morning. This was a big miss from Asobo and to some extend Microsoft. This is officially an outage that has last for over 8 hours now

I find the queue screen somewhat dismissive. Instead of “Too many users are trying to connect at the same time”, a more fitting message would read/ “Our servers are to weak to handle the load. We apologize for our poor planning”

01:35h here in the UK and it is 02:35h or 03:35h for much of Europe and I am STILL in a queue after a supposed fix.

If it’s of any consolation, I’m going over SimObjects loading for the second time in 9 hours. Over at LON; so hopefully you’ll get to experience CTD free experience soon

Well, cheers.. If you get in, dont restart the sim, unless you have a few more bottles.
Dont be a dumb.■■■ like me and restart the sim (again) if you dont want to queue again. I haven’t even seen the inside of a plane yet after almost 12 hours.
