It wasn’t an unexpected release though? FlyingIron had openly teased the Spitfire for months leading up to that release and had even built out a full website around the product. Aeroplane Heaven used the trolls excuse as a convenient out for why they were so delayed on release of the Spitfire.
The only thing that bothers me about the whole situation is they complained about the “community” being the problem and then walked back their statement after they received backlash. The one thing you absolutely don’t do in business is hate on the people who buy and support your products. It’s unprofessional and a terrible business decision.
