Since today I have severe stutters out of the blue. Yesterday was still oké but since the Windows update last night its very bad. Used to use the NVIDIA v.552.22 driver without any problem.
Updated today at last to the 555.99 driver, but still the same stutters. Is there a save driver I wonder.

As info, I saw a video a few days ago (sorry, cant remember who) but they said the 555.99 driver had a lot of problems and it shouldn’t be used. I realize the Bing problem could be your issue here, but it’s just something to think about if your problem persists after the Bing issue is resolved.
Same thing here. Also my GPU usage is unusually high. It’s already up at 96-99% even on the main menu, which I’ve never seen before. Followed by massive stutters every 30-45 seconds, where GPU usage drops to 1%. Is anyone getting the same thing?
That looks like thermal throttling, try low power mode in the sim’s Experimental options (this only affects fps in the menus). Also turn off high power mode in NVCP
I’ve received confirmation that the stutter and performance issues those of you are facing today are directly linked to this current Bing Data outage. We’re still working hard to get everything back up and running as soon as possible!
I uninstalled and installed the game again, which meant I had to download hundreds of gigabytes, because I couldn’t figure out and solve the constant stuttering. Turns out, it’s a bloody server issue. Thanks for nothing Microsoft. Could’ve told us in game instead of making us crazy
MSFS is only a couple of gigabytes, the rest is all content so if you want to reinstall MSFS then first move your packages folder to a non default location and edit it’s path in the UserCfg file (or select it when asked during the install).
yeah, always anxious to assume a magic bullet will fix it, when theres a post on the top of every page in here that says " UPDATE (2024-06-13 AT 15:10 UTC) : Players may find that they have degraded performance, which is directly related to the current Bing Data outage.
The team are working to resolve this as soon as possible."
Create a new folder preferably on a different, empty drive (e.g. D:) name it MSFS and simply drag and drop your Community & Official folders there.
Locate your UserCfg file, open it and at the very bottom edit the path to the same as shown in the new MSFS folder’s properties, in this case D:\MSFS don’t forget to save it
I wonder if temporarily turning off Bing Maps and/or Photogrammetry will at least get you flying normally again (with boring scenery), until the global issue is resolved.
