Everything was ok before the patch… since then I have had numerous performance issues. The main annoying one is when I bank left or right it starts lagging and stuttering. It must be something to do with scenery rendering? I don’t know. Straight and level no issue, but if I start rolling it is stuttery. Any idea why? I have played with settings… The only other time is in close proximity to terrain or cities… flying 100 feet over a mountain, or city. Settings are generally High… PC is Ryzen 5 3600, RX5700XT 32gbs Ram, 100mbps internet.
I managed to reduce those stutters by limiting FPS outside the game ( i used nvidia control panel ) and lock the game at 45FPS
I can’t even reach 45 fps to lock it lol
Max I usually get in most areas (Excluding remote bush strip areas) is like 30
I have a 3800X and a 5700XT. What resolution are you running at? 1080? 1440?
Do you have a freesync monitor and is the option enabled in the adrenalin software under display settings? Are you running HDR enabled? Do you have an HDR enabled monitor? What are your adrenalin graphics settings? I have everything disabled except for 10-bit pixel format as I am running HDR in 1440p freesync monitor at 10 bit, all runs smooth. I used to have those studders and fixed most of them by connecting directly to the router and adjusting the settings. Rolling cache 50gb on.
1440P. Ultra wide Screen HDR monitor. I can’t use Freesync, as it seems to flciker in MSFS. No other games have that issue. I do find that windows resets to 60hz when I restart which is really annoying, and 144hz is certainly smoother. Have tried various adrenaline settings… No option unfortunately other than use wifi based on where the PC is located. Speed is rock solid 100mbps.
