I expect the servers to fail once both 2020 and 2024 users start streaming from the same map data.
Not sure where you got that info but believe that’s just a target date.

I’ve not seen any indications of when exactly SU16 or even SU3 will be released. If you watched the Dev Stream Q&A last week, Jorg said at least three times “next week - hopefully.” So let’s please take note of attribution sources and confidence. Thank you.

We do not have a firm release date at this time for SU16 to share, but will provide an update as soon as the team makes that decision.

I have to say, I am very nervous about the release of SU16 (after what I am reading and recent release history), and would rather the Sim just be left alone now …. everything currently works well.
Personal opinion, others probably differ.

I second that!
Recently, I have not seen CTD or other irregularities. I just fire up the sim and fly. FS2020 works for me, no matter if I fly GA or complex airliners! And everything in VR!
So yes, I would also like it a lot if they simply left FS2020 untouched!

Agree! I hope that Asobo/Microsoft is reviewing the threads on these forums and realising that the sentiment is quite poor.
I will be really really dissapointed if MSFS 2020 inherits bugs from their push of MSFS 2024 maps into 2020 (particularly the blurry terrain LOD issues). In fact I think I’ll be done with the platform completely if the SU16 maps remain as they are. It’s just not worth the investment anymore.
2020 should be for those users wanting a stable experience. It’s a fantastic sim as is right now. Many users have invested time and energy to have it run just right, in home simulators.
In addition many have spent hundreds of dollars for scenery addons knowing they look right with the aerial imagery they were designed for.

I tried to calibrate my oled screen but nothing can correct these new cartoonish satellite imageries.
It’s such a downgrade. I don’t feel like using it anymore. So many places are now looking ridiculous

I already uninstalled for good MSFS2020 from Xbox X, I was really not happy with it.
Should be now SU16 a failure on PC, I will simply uninstall the SIM and never look back.
MSFS2024, no thank you, will certainly not go over to this one.
