Just barely got on for a little while tonight. First impressions of the graphics were positively wow! (1440p) I was disappointed to not see any improvement on the 747-8 directly mentioned, though it is too early in my testing to see about any tangential/ incidental improvements.
I tried a 737 employee mission first (just in case), the plane flipped over on itās head when I hit āSkip to Taxiā. I was trapped in a loop of the plane crashing over and over without time to open the menu until I eventually alt+f4. Not even going to try career mode with my own airliners yet.

This afternoon I had been having a hard time getting airports to load. But this evening itās much better. I have everything in my community folder except FSLTL.
So let me tell my first impressions:
PRO
- Much faster loading the game
- Graphs is improved a lot, I love the blur focus on object on distances
- FPS are amazing now
- EFB itās really improved. I love the way i can modular select sections
- Tailwheel planes look now better, I can brake them without crash the plane forward
- Clouds are smoother
- Career filter is better
CONS
- Career Citation CJ4 cost increase itās really too much (11.000 to 33.000)
- Cessna 172 flying at night cause a lot of ālight bugsā, the light goes on and off if you change among visuals
- I donāt like to have a separate test for the career, unless u plan a short time period. To try the SU2 I had also to reinstall all the addons due to the change in community folder procedures
- Still no shortcut to show/hide all the hud on the screen in order to pass from a clean and reality-alike screen to a more helpfull screen info without pausing and going to set it in the menu settingsā¦itās a pity, really an easy fix.

Very happy with this release. I only fly VR on PC so my perspective is only applicable to VR improvements. Glad to see the Toolbar is no longer finnicky. Although some panels that I opened and closed three sessions ago kept opening up when pressing toolbar key. I have absolutely no more stuttering (visual or audio) affecting my sessions, at all!! Commendations for that! The visuals are fantastic and smoothness is perfect. I see DLSS 4 has been incorporated and it helps a lot. Just had one issue with the 737 losing all electrical on approach in Career mode. There is a problem with the ATC window/panel in VR for me. Although I can adjust the size, I mostly could not see the bottom of the window for ATC interaction options (contact approach, tune ATIS, etcā¦). Sometimes the blue bars for interaction would appear, but it was finnicky fer sher. Before this build, I was getting random and regular white flashes in the cockpit. Not any more. There is still some double imaging in some cockpits when using mouse to tune knobs. And, at night there is a weird haze effect in one eye that causes discomfort.
My Rig: i9-9900K, 32Gb, RTX3090, Q3 using VD. No addons. DLSS Quality and most graphics on High.

Iām sorry, but Iām done here. I just canāt get past the idea that Iāve paid good money to do free beta testing for a game that had no business being released. For a multibillion dollar company no less. The entire point of games is to have fun, this is not fun. Going back to FS2020ā¦ may just look for a different sim altogether.

Not sure if it is all fixed, but i do see a very big improvement. did a flight around NYC before vram would run around 104 to 110 percent. Tonight was running around 83 to 88 %. This with an i 9 11900k 32 gb rtx 3080 10 gb most settings on high with a couple on med, but looking and running much better now.

Sim Update beta 2 doesnāt want to load my flight unless I spawn on the runway. I never spawn on the runway. I like to start cold and dark but with this update I am not able to. So thatās something Asobo need to address quickly during the beta period.

Have you or anyone else noticed that, when opening the GSX menu in the simulator on SU2 Beta, a blank blue message box appears on top left and doesnāt leave the screen at all, not even by restarting couatl or going to the menu?

My career mode has been completely changed. I had about 70 aircraft - now I have 11.
I also got a 737 max as a gift?

On XBox series S. I only fly airliners in free flight. Just started the beta and got immediate CTD when trying to start a flight at JFK. After console restart, was able to get in. Evening time. Dark airport and flashing green lights all around the aircraft (inibuilds A320 v2). The EFB options do not work when you try to click on each of them. Unplayable right now

This week I just build up my new PC and install the fs24 1.3.23.0 and currently I do not install the insider hub app. However in my previous PC I have enrolled in the SU1 beta with insider app installed. Just wanna know if I will receive this beta in my new pc.
BTW. I did not opt-out beta in my previous PC Xbox insider hub.
This new update has driven me to actually make an account on these forums to complain. Iāve lurked the forums for some time now but have never been compelled to actually make an account to post or reply.
I log in and career mode has totally changed with everything unlocked. I donāt want that at all. The map is so cluttered with missions I donāt care about at all. I was grinding out a career doing just discovery flights until I had enough money to start just a cargo company so only those missions would be on the map. Unlocking everything is the exact opposite of what Iām trying to do, at least until if/when they add a mission filter (which should have been there on day 1.)
Fine, whatever. So I unsubscribed from the SU2 beta and deleted the 6gb add on support package. Restarted the xbox. Reloaded the game. CAREER IS STILL TOTALLY UNLOCKED. Furthermore the addon support just re-downloaded itself in the background against my will. This surely isnāt serious.
Fine, Iāll once again find a way to work around this games nonsense. Iāll just restart career from scratch and only unlock what I want to be unlocked. NOW SIM RATE IS GONE TOO!?!? SO THEY WANT ME TO SPEND 3 MORE MONTHS GRINDING JUST FOR THE SAKE OF GRINDING?!?
Oh and the best part is that once SU2 goes live your career progress will reset to where it was before the beta. So everything I work towards until the full release will be gone again.
Iām so over this BS. I literally have been working with AI for a while now and am going to make a proper flight simulator to give this some competition so they canāt just peddle garbage to us.

You need to read the release notes on the beta forums. Welcome to the forums, glad youāre here, not trying to be unpleasant, but all of your grievances were addressed by these notes and betas remain entirely opt-in builds.

can anybody answer what measures has been taken to āfixā the vram issues in SU2 as was slated? is it the wasm gauges mem usage or?
Or is the āfixā the popup they created telling you that you need to lower your graphic settings?

No more than 15 seconds and CTD. Itās not possible to test anything. I tried at least 10 times today.
