Issue still exists in 1.5.9.
This Issue which has amassed 52 votes remains unaddressed since the initial beta 3 in mid May, and following 6 beta builds.
Hopefully all is well at Asobo.
I can enable 2020 aircraft, like the Beech 18 for example, and they will show up in the session, but when I close the sim and restart they are back to disabled state.
This is really annoying, especially considering the number of 2020 aircraft you may want to enable.
I know it’s a beta, but can someone please be assigned to basic QA.
There is a workaround, but its nothing for those who will change their packages frequently…
There is a 2nd Content.xml file within this folder:

In this Content.xml file, set your package status to the status you want (“Activated”, “UserDisabled”)

Once you’re done, save the file and the file to “read-only” in the file properties.
As it cant be written anymore, nothing else will be activated… but be aware, removing or adding packages e.g. from the communityfolder might result in CTD as it cant be written anymore… so when changeing packages by dropping in or out of the communityfolder you need to adjust the content.xml file by yourself.
Somebody needs to make a Content Manager for MSFS 2024 that will avoid these ridiculous bugs and have a much better UI than the sim.
msfs-2024 Weather Presetadd-ons can not be disabled in library when using SimUpdate3 Beta
Description of the issue: I bought several weather presets. Even when disabling them they are still showed as “streamed” when restarting. So I have over 800 weather presets to scroll through but I want disable some add-ons so I have not 800 presets to go through.
[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

- disabling a weather preset addon like 4simmers enhanced weather presets X ect.
- restart the sim check
- check in library if it is disabled
- check in world map, flight conditions if the weather presets are still listed.
