Testing is an afterthought to the MSFS team I feel.

I’m so glad that FS24 is streamed. I remember the huge download times of FS20, when I was able to read War and Peace through twice whilst waiting.
Today’s SU3 was only 280 Mb.
I use Steam and it is NOT updating.
It will, give it time or play the old version.
Post a screenshot of this please.
How long will it take to resolve?

There is a larger Microsoft network and services outage reported on Bleepingcomputer and other IT news sites, which I believe is the cause of the MSFS SU3 rollout delay (but I could be wrong).

it’s sloooowly downloading a 4 gig update? That quite big it seems
More than likely it’s Microsoft not Asobo. There is a larger Microsoft network issue going on that’s currently affecting Copilot and Office, so wouldn’t be surprised if it’s affecting this too.

Highly recommend not trying to update today, while there is a Microsoft network issue, chances of corrupted install go up. I learned a long time ago to never update on a release day…
Don’t think you have a choice now if you want to play today.
Yea same issue 
First time all the settings were reset since the game launched. Guess I’ll be redoing all my bindings today 
So I left the beta (SU3 is in a good place and I might want to try career mode), and then the sim re-downloaded itself like 4 times, and then when I finally got it to restart itself I also got some screens that made me think I maybe lost all my settings. But lo and behold, all my controls profiles are still there. But I’ve been reverted to SU2 
So how long are we supposed to wait i have stuff to go do this afternoon so i would love to start it all before i have to leave to go to dr and phone app
