MSFS 2024 SU6 beta can look good visually, and sometimes even absolutely stunning. So why can’t it look like this consistently, in every location?

In my opinion, it’s better to have the content downloaded to your drive if you have enough storage space. For example, there’s a noticeable difference between streamed aircraft and aircraft installed locally. With streamed aircraft, the cockpit and other details appear with a delay if the aircraft isn’t downloaded to your drive.

I just tested SU6 v1.8.10 with a friend.
We returned to the World Map from Free Flight and switched to aircraft with different liveries.
However, when we went back to Free Flight, the aircraft appeared with the previous liveries.
We both experienced the same issue.
It seems there is a problem with the matchmaking.
2 hour flight in the Black Square Commander 114 that I picked up the other day. Very good performance again with this build. Maxed out aside from Terrain LOD set to 350. 80+ FPS and no stuttering.
I just can’t get behind this as an absolute statement. Developers have previously explained this is a result of 2024-native LOD systems at play, not streaming. While your experience may differ, I have seen this exact same kind of loading issue with the Fenix A320 and other Community folder aircraft, which obviously aren’t streamed.
Maybe it varies between aircraft. I’m using the Black Square Commander at the moment bought from Just Flight so stored locally and there is no delay.
In 1.8.10.0 FlightFX Citation X is not working, I guess that’s also the reason why content loading is stucj at 25% for a loooong time. On PC-Xbox.
I can also confirm the Citation X is not working After spawning the aircraft is invisible

Latest beta .10 mouse in VR has improved, Still seeing duble arrows but as soon as I hover something clickable, it changes to a pointy hand.

Can you remove all covers/chocks etc in the Walkaround mode yet? They broke it severely with SU5 and I’ve yet to see this “fixed” in the patch notes
I’m on PC/MS Store. Agreed, I had major issues with walkaround after SU5 was released (but not within the SU5 beta). SU6 has been very clean with walkaround although I do have to hit my right mouse button before walking around using my Xbox controller and clicking on the mouse to remove covers/chocks/ropes/etc.
LOD fix when? Stutters due to offscreen precaching problems fix when? Audio stutters due to CPU spikes fix when? Live weather fix when?
Come on guys its almost aug 2026, the sim released end 2024. How much longer do we have to wait?
All of those problems have been very well documented and described in the forums. I guess you guys have alot of money and people. Do something!
Yes, I’m aware of those threads, and I participate in the bug report on this issue regularly. In my opinion, and I’m sure many others feel the same… this issue has gone unresolved for far too long. So, what else can we do? We keep bringing it up wherever it’s appropriate in the hope that it finally gets noticed and addressed. I certainly won’t give up pushing for it until it receives the attention it deserves. I hope no one else gives up on this either. The more people who continue to raise the issue, the better the chances it finally gets resolved.
I have never had an issue with cockpit and other details appearing with a delay on any aircraft I have flown. I will caveat that with…I don’t fly tubeliners. The Sov+ is the biggest plane I fly.
Maybe this is a thing with the big, highly complex, 3rd party airliners, but it is nothing I have ever experienced. 1gb x 1gb fiber.
