SU7 Beta General Feedback and Discussion Thread

Seeing the same thing with the ATR. Rocking back and forth on the ground and even pitching backwards at times. Once engines are activated it seems to accelerate on its own and the plane isn’t useable. Reverting to SU6 fixed the issues.

Why is there always this discussion how it is not appropriate to post our observations here? The name of the thread is literaly “General Feedback and Discussion”!
So feedback and descussion here, detailed bug reports in separate topics. simple. Nothing wrong to write any feedback here. I’m I getting something wrong?

Just a reminder, and as noted in the first post, please create a new topic in the appropriate subsection for CTDs and other specific issues so they can be properly logged and tracked.

Did you create a bug report?

Please fix the pre-cache Bug/stuttering when panning the camera. This issue has been irking me since February, when I initially brought it to attention. I haven’t completed a full flight since then… It’s quite an annoyance.

There is a HUGE memory leak when doing long hauls. Why isnt it going to be fixed???

I totaly agree:ok_hand:

whats the specific leak again?

Yep now on the new a380 when you go back to cockpit view, all the warning lights light up for a second and then dissapear. It seems that its not activating any warnings but only graphically shows it.

This looks like its originating from the specific issue. Well.. inibuilds will most likely find a fix around the whole issue making it seem to dissapear, but yet the main problem still exists…. ALL BECAUSE MSFS DEVS ARENT LISTENING!

And this is “a HUGE memory leak”?

Can you give me the circumstances? Are you talking about VRAM increasing and never going back down? I have a tool that can easily show a memory leak or not, and I’d love to be able to test it and confirm.

So you verified this using publicly available free software, or perhaps with a pen and paper or a notepad?

This is why I took the decision to move over to GeForce now from series X and never looked back.

Are you referring to MSFS own setting motion reprojection? And it is working for you? Like doubling you FPS from 40 to 80fps?

What about Motion Smoothing? i tought it didnt work in VR?

This is not the Nvidia Motion Smoothing that creates synthetic frames. This is the Motion Smoothing built into the Valve Index. It does basically the same thing as Nvidia Motion Smoothing. It was broken for awhile, then I believe it was disabled. It appears to be working correctly again.

Nothing on clouds/weather/atmosphere again.

So disappointing. It’s a flight sim and the clouds and atmosphere are so far behind other aspects.

Weather has been one of the most requested upgrades for several SUs now, met with total silence. Its clear that any upgrade is being held back for the next sim.
