MS Store VR user here: I’m not the type to constantly complain or try to change the world, but it seems there is once again just a single general feedback thread for all platforms (MS Store, PS, etc.). I assume I speak for others who are also tired of having to sift through information about every platform in that one general thread. VR in MSFS 2024 is really fun—I have other commitments like family, etc., and simply don’t want to spend my precious free time reading through unnecessary information. I don’t want to lose the enjoyment I get from MSFS and the forum.
MSFS 2024 SU7 is scheduled for release on October 13.

In the dev stream (that just ended), they discussed a “possible breakthrough” to memory issues with long-haul flights. It’ll be coming in the next SU7 update I believe. Martial from Asobo wants people to test it and report their findings.
I’m wondering if someone should start a new topic specifically for this, something like “SU7 beta Long-Haul Feedback” so people can share their test results and findings in one place.
Yeah, though of course we thought that would come with 2024, but if anything it was a regression.

I had to leave the beta test again because the performance degradation of SU7 was too severe, and it was really unbearable for my 8GB memory 4070.
I thought that 4070s had 12 GB of VRAM?

I’m not sure if this is Beta related, but planner.flightsimulator.com no longer lists any aircraft.
Laptop 4070’s have 8GB RAM.
I’ve definitely seen live non beta players in older betas pre SU5 and 6
I think it depended on what the latest part of the beta was working on. You used to see live players in the first few beta updates and often then they vanished in later parts of the beta it all depended tbh.

I don’t think this is related to the SU7 beta. I’d suggest creating a separate topic and reporting it as a bug. Before doing that, though, try clicking your avatar on the Flight Planner website, logging out, then clearing your browser cache. Close the browser completely, reopen it, and log back in.
Anybody getting any word on a compatibility upgrade for ChasePlane? I just got back into the beta and tried loading up the Fenix A320 and it seemed broken. I would have thought they’d have updated by now.
Actually, it works just fine without the aircraft.
Unfortunately they are taking longer to update it this time.
