I’m not sure if this is the proper category to post this, but I’ m looking for a white Super Cub on floats for a special video project for a “celebration of life”. I’m not finding one for MSFS. Have I overlooked one somewhere? Thanks!

Thanks, No, I am aware of that one, and have even made a video with it. The Zlin/Savage cub could suffice (looks right), but I find no floats for it.

It is too bad they didn’t put floats on the Savage Cub, it is the best ‘cub’ in the sim(regardless of how utterly awesome the GF/Grravel mods and the default CCX and Husky are decent). You can even fly from the back seat, but they only give you the standard “it’s a Super Cub” with the Savage. I’m not sure how good the other 3RD party ‘Cubs’ are, but I’ve passed them over more than a few times, they don’t look all that great. It’s actually a little crowded for the type, but I know exactly what you mean.
Need a tube and rag master like Ant to do one up, but again it’s hard to be unique in there to justify the effort. Too bad we didn’t have one very early in the sim. Even a steam Husky would be nice. Can’t tell you how many times I randomly load up the Husky and forget I’ll be staring at a G3X.
That would be nice. Although the Savage Cub has about 5’ less wingspan than the Super Cub. Here is the effect I’m after for the “celebration of life” video. I may do the “sunset” clip in FSX, but really prefer MSFS. Another option is to use the Carbon Cub on floats, but not get too close to it in the video. I may take a stab at changing the livery color to be red on white like the person’s plane. I’ve never done this before, but know how to recolor an image file. If there’s somebody here who can change the livery of the CC on floats for me, let me know. As I understand it, livery changes can only be colors and textures, not frames. So tweaking the CC cub to look like a Super Cub is not possible?
The monster nx has a ton of liveries with different color framework, even brakes. I don’t think any modern stol cub derived mfg would use the old grandpa long wing though
