but those 2 set the bar very very very low… so without even knowing anything about this Kodiak the answer will be a resounding yes
Won’t even be close. As far as CaptainSim goes, I’ve shoveled better products than that out of a cattle pen. SWS does good quality work. That doesn’t mean that it’ll release bug-free (as we never know), but their dedication to creating a quality product shows in their results. I’ve been impressed with their Zenith 701, which recently got a free update to add a float version among other things.

Good spot. I am so sold on this add-on! Btw I bought the Embraer because I would miss its
silhouette in the sim. The Kodiak, the Islander and the Twotter, though, they are for flying

I am a real life Kodiak pilot and have been helping SWS out with the flight testing. They have done a great job with it within the limitations of MSFS and I’m sure you’ll be happy with what they have put out.
To address the rudder comments above. Yes the Kodiak needs a lot of right rudder on take off. I usually put in about 50% right rudder trim for take off.
The airplane yaws quite a bit inflight as well, reason we put the yaw damper on after take off.
The short field performance is where this airplane really shines. I think you will have a lot of fun with it.

No, we don’t yet have the know-how to make a PC & Xbox compatible tablet. But we will get there eventually.

Love the plane folks! This is something to be proud of. Well done. Now please make a twin turbo prop of some kind with the same love you put into this beauty, haha. So I can finally plan a trip around the Sim World.

Maybe some day this will show up in the Xbox market place. Not holding my breath though.
autotrim on xbox doesn’t work at all. Plane pith crazy up or down when usingf flaps.
