Taburet -- USA Northeast Roads

Are you actually adding anything to the roads, or just removing the green line that Asobo creates? I guess when you said you add new surfaces, I expected a dramatic change. Just clarify to help illuminate my ignorance, or educate my misunderstanding please.

And one suggestion for a future product… Something which removes the snow from roads in winter! I believe you would be onto a winner with that one.

Thanks

that looks good, that’s how I expected it, well I actually expected almost photo-realistic textures. I check the days without VR and with VR after reinstallation, with and without add-on. But I have little time for it, probably not until the weekend

I have multiple Taburet road addons (all of the US and Australia) and have never had a single problem with them. I’m happy with the texture improvements.

i understand that how it was in fsx
but now is changed; roads features are now visible because of bing orthophotos; although it can be covered with textures; textures always point at the same direction; a line printed on the texture that go from north to south will always point that way even when the roads go from east to west.

a nice crips beautiful road texture; will not work; for that reason; we have to do the most of bing mapping the roads in the simulator

Thank you.

Same!

Though I do have a question for @BoilingCaesar4 - In version 1.3, the road textures would (correctly) be free of snow while the surrounding areas were snow-covered. This seems to have gone away with the current version. Is there any way to bring back the “snow-proofing”?

Thanks for a great product. I went ahead and bought US South and US West as well as NE. 10/10 would recommend.

So I was not mistaken. I thought I had seen at least one screenshot where snow was removed. This was actually why I bought the product to be able to navigate by VFR on the Canadian prairies. If indeed this was a characteristic in a previous version, then I would most certainly hope that it can be re-instituted.

because in older roads version; we made the roads work even if materials were not really working as they should; in short msfs was for some reason not showing up materials lied on the ground correctly when apply to external addons interacting with the ground; than the update come; and it is like somebody plug the lot in; we had texures showing up; snow; rain; ice; lightening reflections; all appearing; although even at this stage; not all material are functioning as they should; look like this part of msfs is still in development.
the weather effects are built in; not sure there is something can be done to eliminate the effects

Actually about snow or rain would be enough misobo implement a switch to turn it on and off like they implement the exclusions for powerlines roads waters

Unfortunately, I can no longer check to find the error because Simmarket has just blocked my entire account to blackmail me to close the PayPal case despite my advice that the manufacturer supports it for clarification. At least it was the last software I bought from simmarket when, as a customer, I was expropriated from all of my software from all manufacturers for € 9

I have a lot of Taburet stuff. It makes the roads show up better but there are no textures to the roads at all. It’s basically just overlaid polygons that look terrible up close. It would be nice to see some painted lanes or textures of some kind.

I have purchased several of the TABURET addons, with no complaints, and reasonably priced. One major package that is missing in MSFS VFR flying, a very much needed are the water towers, especially in the US. Have you considered that for a project?

Not necessarily water towers, but everything else.

That was my point exactly. You have created virtually every other common VFR object. Cell Towers, Radio/TV Towers, Smokestacks… the only VFR navigation aids still missing would be the Water Towers.

Agree with you
Tons of objects to be added but no water towers
Maybe somebody will add them on
