yep…exactly this.
All of the helicopters are over powered in MSFS2024. I’m not sure if it’s the changes in the FM or engine parameters. It’s been noted by most of the helicopter devs that I have talked to.
You can go a little further into understanding RBS by reading the handbook from the FAA. Gyroscopic precession causes the reaction to happen 90° after the input, so RBS first causes a pitch up and heavy vibration. If you ignore this and keep pushing the forward airspeed you will induce a roll, usually to the direction of the blade rotation. It depends on the rotor system. In a 2-bladed teetering rotor, this can lead to the disk becoming unloaded, and mast bumping will occur, followed shortly by the departure of the blades from the helicopter.
If you are cruising along and you start to get an un-commanded pitch up, slow down or suffer the consequences.
