Yes

If you check the back of them I believe they do have signage. I believe many are single sided, but it no doubt varies from airport to airport. Can you cite an airport in particular?

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Yes, here are the ones I’ve used recently:

As mentioned by @hobanagerik , many signs are single sided. Taking KMMU as example:

I don’t see missing letters or numbers. Could you post screenshots (providing airport and exact location) where you don’t see anything on both sides ?

Moved to User Support Hub Scenery & Airports until getting more information from OP.

This image is from the same spot at KMMU that yours is from and it shows the same thing. I also just noticed there are a lot more signs than there are at the real airport!

But, the problem is (obviously) that if you’re taxiing the “wrong” way - you won’t see the signs! I’ve come to many an intersection where none of the signs were visible and I had no idea where I was.

By the way, thanks for taking the time to look at this airport. I really appreciate it.

Yes, default airports signs cannot be accurate as IRL. That is why if you want improved airports you need to go for 3rd party addons. Also the new World Hub functionality is allowing users to improve many base airports, so hopefully the locations you are flying to will benefit of it.

Here is KEWR:

You can see both of these only have writing on one side. Every sign I looked at was the same.

I then wondered about custom scenery, as I can’t say I have noticed this in those locations. One example would be EGLC. I was thinking that if signage exists that does have printing on both sides, why can’t the AI place those.

The answer is simple. They cheat!

Where it matters that the signage can be read on both sides, just place two back to back.

Probably for the best. I don’t think I’ve been to a single Charlie or Delta airport where the taxiways were correct. I’d rather just check ForeFlight and ignore the signs.

If you fly tubes and only visit hand-crafted, class Bravo airports, it may be different.

For all its limitations, this is one thing that the World Hub will facilitate, as long as the editor is following airport charts and/or has first hand knowledge of the airport in question.
