Tbm 930 middle panel zoom issue

Tried to fix this for hours.
Tbm 930 middle panel zoom…

Sorry for posting this here. Ive tried to make a new post but i couldnt.

Cheers!

Hi @Yopukla, I’ve moved this into a new topic for you. For reference, you need to reach Trust Level 1 on the forums to create topics.

Hello @Yopukla

The reason you cannot create a topic is that you are not at Trust Level 1 yet. Once you reach Trust Level 1 status, you can create a topic. You can refer here for more information: Trust Levels and How To Advance

Achieving Trust Level One is easy. The criteria is:

  • Enter 5 Topics
  • Read 5 Posts
  • Spend at least 15 minutes reading posts on the forums

Once you do that, you will receive a Personal Message from the system saying that you have been upgraded to Trust Level 1.

For your issue-did you disable all of your addons?

Now that your question is in its own thread, let’s start troubleshooting. I see that you’re on a PC, so the first thing to do is make sure the sim is shut down, then drag your Community folder to the desktop. When you restart the sim, it will generate another empty Community folder, allowing for a stock setup. Once you have the sim restarted with the empty Community folder, go back into the TBM and see if you still get the same results.

Hello.

Its still the same result im afraid.

Thank you for taking your time to help.

Hi again. Ive been flying like crazy for the last week and I even bought the premium deluxe edition, to try new aircraft.

And man i got dissapointed. I tried the cessna longitude and i have the same problem in that plane :frowning:

So atleast its not the planes that causes this it must be garmin g1000. Ive uninstalled it but still the same issue.

Ive done editing in the files with diffrent % of size but its an maze and keeping track of all the things ive changed.

Does someone know the location of the settings so i can reset it to default or just reset the whole game to default settings?

Please help someone, ive recived my hp reverb g2 aswell and all i do is stare at the mfd in the middle and its so frustrating that i cant enjoy the game

Edit: Both of these aircraft use Garmin G3000. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and it was solved.
After e few flights its the same again…

I installed the working title Garmin G3000 mod and that solved the problem.

Thanks for the help.

Hello. I’m having precisely this same experience – a zoomed TBM MFD panel.

I’m running the game from the Xbox/Microsoft store without any mods, and with only the purchase of the Cirrus SF50 (Vision Jet) and Grippen. Using Windows 10 64-bit with a 3080 GPU using Nvidia 527.56 drivers.

I’ve tried DX11, DX12, adjusting interface zoom options, en/disabling Nvidia DLSS, different screen resolutions (1920x1080 up to 3840x2160), windowed and full screen. I’ve tried removing and reinstalling the three official Garmin mods through the Content Manager in all six combinations (Garmin G1000 NXI v0.14.0, Garmin G1000 NXI v1.1.0, and the Garmin GNS 430/530 just for good measure). Also re-installed the entire game, saw the MFD working for a single flight, and then the issue returned. Was about to give up.

In the last post, you mention a “Garmin G3000” mod. I do not see one in the official store, though there is one (v0.7.8) on their web site (workingtitle.aero/packages/g3000/). Is this the one you used?

And, even if that does correct the misbehaving MFD, that does not feel like a closed solution, since it is still potentially broken for other users of the game. Downloading unapproved (though likely fine) third-party software can’t be a solution. There should be a bug filed.

Anyway, thanks for posting here. I was about to give up on the TBM.

Yes adding “workingtitle-g3000-v0.7.8” to the community folder solved it.

It should work for you as well.

You can get v0.7.8 here:
