TBM after update

Reporting the same issue on Xbox. Alarm won’t turn off using the reset switch and also getting the ITT overheat issue when using max throttle for a prolonged period of time in the air. Reducing power stops the overheat. Not sure if that’s an intended outcome to mixing out the engine for prolonged periods of time. I don’t won a tbm 930 in real life to check. But I do have the manual. Might take a look.

@Follhorst yeah reported it also for the tbm defult also but it was on Saturday so i assume it got logged but was too late too fix

It’s not an issue on the real one. You can run the engine at 100% torque from takeoff to landing!

Yep just checked the manual. In fact they say in the manual if it happens during flight reduce power land immediately and inform maintenance…lol.

Guess that must be Asobo at this point.

I just had a look at the POH tables and unless I’m misinterpreting them, dependent on OAT and altitude the maximum cruise / climb torque recommendation is usually less than 100%.

If only checked at ISA conditions, max cruise torque below FL290 is 100%.

Gotcha, but is my understanding correct though?
If you’re off ISA conditions you may have to pull back the torque to prevent overheating. I thought this was correct behaviour where you’re torque limited at low altitude and ITT limited at high altitude?

I’m not even sure if you need to pull the power lever back.

At ISA -20 you can run the engine at 100% at all altitudes
At ISA +20 the 100% torque limit drops to FL230.

It’s possible that the engine simply can’t provide 100% torque at very high altitude and/or OAT.

Make sure all the windows are closed.

217 kts at 19000 is Mach .47

It´s clearly ok for me. Ever heard of IAS or TAS?

Mach in the TBM? Mach is not even mentioned in the performance tables.

If you are talking about park brake alarm, the issue is the Milviz PC6.
I believe that Milviz is going to da an update soon.

WTG3000 is up the putt, both speed and altitude tapes freeze (working now after changing altitude) and no magenta line on MFD when using direct to.
Very annoying and I know it is fixable but, it 's frustrating.
I am going to go have a scotch. That should make me feel better…lol

No! Did you read any of the posts above?

TBM, Longitude and CJ4 gives me ITT warnings, I have to be able to use max power for more than 15 sec after take off?

But on your instruments. Maybe worth a look

Not really worth a look.
TAS for performance.
IAS for flying.

Alarm goes off when I release the parking brake in the longitude. Still not right though.

no itt warning using WT3000 and mugs mod flew very nice actually

That’s because his mod still includes the SU5 config files.

SU6 was quite a step backwards for the TBM. Once again the TBM is now heavily ITT limited at low altitudes and torque limited at higher altitudes. In reality it’s the direct opposite. It’s hard to comprehend why the ITT/torque relationship is so difficult to understand for them.
