OK so I feel like I’m taking crazy pills here but my NAV AUTOPILOT is taking me the wrong way
As you can see in my screenshot, look at figure 1 on the left: the nav arrow for the FMS course is pointing behind me. If I turn on NAV AUTOPILOT the plane pulls a 180 (which is wrong).
Now look at figure 2 on the right: my actual course to waypoint BLEIR is dead in front of me.
I’ve flown this plane many times and have been fine, but now apparently I’m doing something wrong. Can anyone tell from my screenshot why the NAV AUTOPILOT is trying to fly 180 degrees in the wrong direction of my course?
Your AP is selected to use the HDG which one is set on heading 338 instead of NAV
That’s the reason why

I used this aircraft on a three hour flight early this morning - took AP on and off a couple times, changed altitude several times (using the AP with VS and VNAV) and it worked precisely as it should. Sorry, other than your HDG setting on your AP, I cannot think of anything that might be going wrong.

thanks for the response but unfortinetly thats not it. I have it on HDG mode so I could go the right direction as NAV mode tried to flip me 180 degrees away from the waypoint.
as you can see in figure 1 the magenta arrow is pointing behind me, the wrong way.
anyway I fixed it by activating the next leg in the waypoint page, the magenta line then flipped around the correct way. seems like it was a small temporary bug
