TBM Throttle Question

Hello! I’m seeing if anyone knows how to set up MSFS so your home throttle setup is like the TBM’s in that it should be about half way up to be in idle, and forward from there is basically forward and backwards is reverse.

Currently when I have my throttle all the way down at idle, the TBM’s throttle is sitting at the half way point. I want my throttle the mimic the TBM’s throttle so half way on mine is half way on the TBM.

Does anyone know how to set it up so it works like this? Thanks

P.S. The FBW A320 has figured out how to do it like this

Hi! Are you using any yoke?

Calibrate your stick, when you do make sure that the throttle is halfway up, and then start the calibration. If this doesnt work you’ll have to go into game settings for that specific slider and mess with the setting there.

For me personally I use a button to switch between reverse/forward thrust and use it like that.

what button do you use. i’ve only been able to get a full reverse button which is too much

I have a thumb button on my throttle, I toggle it and now Im in reverse thrust, and visa vesa..I know what you mean about the FBW settings though. But if you look in the configuration section for the stick you should be able to make adjustments so it works that way.

sorry not button i meant what keybinding do you use for the button

I forget the exact path, but it’s under Control Options. Look for Toggle Reverse Thrust.

I searched for reverse, and then selected I thing reverse thrust toggle for the switch, so when I push it forward once it toggles it on and when I push it again it toggles is off. I have the same button bound for the reverse prop command as well. just search for reverse, and decide which way works for you.

But if you want it truly like the A320 then you best bet is to go into the calibration setting and try to make it work from there the way you want it.
