Does anyone know why the engine starters are not working on the TCA throttle with the A32NX?
They used to work but I haven’t used it since before the last sim update. They are not bound to anything and they don’t work when I bind them to the Engine Starter toggle.
Are you using the built in A320 or FBW? If FBW have you updated it as well?
I’m using the FBW and it’s updated too. Strange thing is I haven’t changed any settings since I last used it. The only things different is that the sim has been updated and I’ve updated the FBW A320. Even when I manually bind the engine starters to the switched they don’t do anything.
Yeah, that’s probably why that’s the issue. You might need to delete any of your previous profile. And start from the current default profile, and duplicate that. Then don’t touch the bindings for the engine switches or the engine mode selector. Leave them as is, because it looks like there’s an underlying hidden logic within that default profile that made the engine switches work. When you make any change to these bindings, those logic can break, and you would actually end up with a non-functioning engine switches.
Same thing goes for the Parking Brake, Landing Gear, and autobrake switches. If you have the spoilers and flaps addon, don’t touch these bindings as well. But if you don’t have the attachments, make sure you remove them from the binding, because these can cause issues like flaps and spoilers moving on its own due to phantom inputs from a non-existent hardware.
Thanks for the advice. When testing though I did actually go into the default profile and the engine switches weren’t working in there either. I’m really stuck in what to do to make it work. The switches work fine as they register but even when I manually bind them to the engine master switch they still don’t work.
Have you definitely gone back to a default profile as that worked for me. Not touched the switch settings after that.
Do the switches move in the aircraft when you move on the Quadrant?
Have you selected the FBW A320 aircraft (and not the default Asobo A320)?
