Thank you Asobo and a few questions

First of all thank you Asobo and Microsoft to release this beauty to Xbox console. I waited it with impatience and I’m really happy for the long wait since its announce, play with it is really emotional.
I know the work behind it, in past I developed a photoreal for another flight sim and even for an airline, You achieved a great result with it, all the XBOX community is enthusiast of it (at the same time a bit less for the incredible and inexplicable HOTAS ONE problems).

Any way I have a few questions about Fs and the Xbox version that I was unable to find:

Is it possible to watch an operated flight and save it for future watch?

Is there a command to use the hat switch of the hotas one with 360 lockable view? I mean that moving the hat switch I can see down, rear, right 45 degree, right, etc etc

On Xbox Contents download from marketplace may affect frame rate or the MFS2020 maintain a solid frame rate on the console?

Hi there,
I have the PC version, so I cannot answer your questions fully, but I will try.

If you are talking about a replay function, the answer is no. If that is what you are looking for, you might want to check out this Wishlist topic:

It is currently scheduled to be implemented sometime this year, although the release schedule does shift around from time to time. So keep watching the feedback snapshot every Thursday to see if it changes!

I don’t know what the Xbox UI looks like, but there probably is a section in the options for controls. In that, you should be able to select your HOTAS and modify the mapping of your hat switch. All of the options you are looking for should be under the “Camera” section.

On PC, some downloads affect frame rate negatively. I assume that it would be the same for Xbox. However, as developers can choose whether or not to release for Xbox, it would be in their best interest to test it and ensure that it performs smoothly.

  • Replay - my understanding was that this was something ‘in development’
  • Hat switch - I currently use that to look around, but I don’t know how to lock it.
  • Frame rate - I only have the World Updates so far, we might have to wait and try it.

The main problem is that on a pc if you have bad performance with an add on you can purchase and change the hardware ro improve performances, on Xbox if you have bad performance with an add on you can’t change the hardware and you waste money.
I hope they are well beta tested on Xbox.

At least it can be tested on an Xbox. With PC there are endless varieties. :slightly_smiling_face:
