Of course your daughter’s should have a go! Everyone starts somewhere, and who knows, you may be raising future pilots!

I’m very excited for the Xbox version because it means the MSFS family will continue to grow and MS will continue to support this amazing sim for hopefully years to come.

Exciting times for you. I’m almost envious of the new things you will learn and experience. Before the 27th why not have a look at some of the youtube streams which will inevitably come out before launch. They’re good fun too and will get you a bit hyped up for when it does eventually launch.
As said by loads of other sim enthusiasts here already don’t be afraid of asking questions even if they seem a bit basic. There are one or two clowns on here (not many) but the vast majority of us are really happy to help.

Started in FS-95/98, and always wanted to fly big iron. Neighbor was DAL pilot, so he showed me how to navigate, the rules about approach and take off. I used to fly in PNW of USA, but now just fly where ever I want to. However, have not flown in several months, hurt my arm/wrist, and now it is finally responding to Physical Therapy, so hopefully soon. I guess my favorite plane in MSFS is the 787, hoping for C-17 and rumors about 737 abound. Keep game up to date. But remember, we all will assist and answer questions, many pilots on here who really fly. But one note, it’s to have fun, not get frustrated. YouTube is your friend, RMAG, Sim Hanger, and many more who know stuff you will find helpful.
