@ExplorerJB Okay, I had a chance to test the Wright Flyer at a couple of my mountaintop strips. It’s a no-go at Ponca International. The slope isn’t enough to get it going, and you have no control to keep it straight on the runway. Banks Ranch, on the other hand, is a perfect launch spot. After launching at Banks Ranch (The Log Ride strip), I was able to fly it until it ran out of fuel, which is only a few minutes with 50% fuel load.
To fly here, you need to download Banks Ranch from Flightsim.to and start at the spot in the picture below. Runway 3 is “The Log Ride”. This is only available on PC of course. The 2nd picture shows the starting point, and the 3rd shows just after takeoff. This spot is actually quite effective.
