Just downloaded Anniversary update. Gone to content manager to update premium edition and I am being told that my internet connection has been lost. Anyone else having the same?

Happy waiting for reconnection ā€¦

Yes and it returned pretty quickly thereafter.

Iā€™m guessing itā€™s just being caused by the massive demands that are probably currently being placed on the MS servers.

I would like to thank you also. I am an old pilot in FSX and XP10, but it is thanks to MSFS that I have met some of the greatest people in my life! It changed my perspective completely. It mainly started with watching a lot of streamers on Twitch and YT, now I have a group of people that I meet not only regularly on joint flights, but also in real life. Thank you @SeedyL3205 and many of YOU for that!

At first, congratulations to Ms/Asobo for the great release so faršŸ‘

Itā€™s really enjoyable and seems like a good work that got delivered with the aircraft.

Only one thingā€¦ (Beside the missing wasm for Xbox)
But really only one thing would more than greatā€¦

It appears that is exactly what happened. Mine has since come back on line. Thanks for the reply.

There are various opinions in the flight sim community, on what constitutes a ā€œstudy levelā€ aircraft. That being said, typically and historically, pretty much all flight simulators have never come with ā€œstudy levelā€ aircraft. It has always been up to third party developers to fill the gap.

The fact that we now have the likes of a study level A310 integrated in a sim, is a first.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone in producing, modifying, updating Msfs2020. I just downloaded the latest update and it just gets better and better. As a Helicopter sim pilot, itā€™s like all my birthdays have come at once. The two new helicopters included free of charge are a joy to fly. Buying Msfs2020 is the best money Iā€™ve ever spent. Its remarkable value for such an incredible program, with continuous improvements and free content. Again thanks so much for what I can only describe as a work of art.

I would like to join in the congratulations. I started my simulation career in the 80ā€™s with FS3 and have dreamed of a sim of this visual quality and simulation depth since that time. Thanks to all who make the MSFS experience possible! Great work!

Just completed a 4.5 hour flight in the PMDG 738 (Its a Pilots Life C2), no issues at all and it ran buttery smooth for me.

Thanks as above for this awesome sim and update!

Guys, do I have to clear the rolling cache every time flight simulator gets an update? Wonā€™t the new data just overwrite everything in the cache file eventually?

Also, if I revert to a smaller cache size I still the same reserved space being used. What is this nonsense?!

Is Asobo aware of it? My game is pushing 250+GB at the moment and my rolling cache size is 64gb. However the reserved space is showing close to 190gb. I donā€™t have any add-ons installed at allā€¦ Just the F-16 and Mig-29.

Series X.

Dunno if same on Xbox but to make the rolling cache smaller, first you have to delete it and then recreate it at the new smaller size you want.

And yes I would say clear it after a big update as it will read from there BEFORE getting new data from the Net. Thatā€™s kind of the whole point of it, so it can cause clashes if itā€™s mixing old with new.

Thanks. deleting and setting it again to whatever size does not make a difference. if I set it to a smaller size e.g. the reserve space size remains unchanged. If I set it to a larger size it reflects in the reserved space but thatā€™s the thing! Whenever I want to set a smaller rolling cache size after deleting it it will not give me back the freed up reserved space!!

Iā€™ve had to reinstall flight simulator twice because of this not going through this ordeal for a third time
