I watched the Q&A and much people are complaining about the draw distance, they are watching for a resolution and he said that they noticed that improving the render distance didn‘t take too much of FPS.
So there‘s hope for us that will improve

Yeah on higher altitudes he said. 15-20000ft. (i’m not sure where the current LOD problems are)
Did they mention how they unintentionally downgraded it?

It would be great if they would increase it at least at normal cruising altitude. At 39000 ft. the drawing distance issue is visible.
He said they didn’t intentionally change anything about it. If you happen to have before/after screenshots, those help a lot, he also said.
I think he basically agreed that something happened unintentionally. I guess they still don’t know, which is troubling
