The king of dcs sound packs echo 19 is coming to MSFS
Hi there
I wanted to highlight some exciting developments. As you all noticed, news and updates have been slow - but progress has not been slow. As a company, we are growing exponentially and the clients we are taking on has increased as well. Today I wanted to highlight a few of the projects we are working on, so strap in!
Firstly, the CH-47D by Miltech Simulations:
We’ve had the incredible opportunity to partner with Miltech Simulations to provide some of the “Wokka” sounds to the MSFS rendition of this iconic bird. Echo 19 arrived late in the game on this project, and helped with quality control by almost completely re-shaping the sound design. We are looking to do even more with the Chinook as the year progresses, including some major re-works of the rotor sounds with newer samples. Echo 19 and Miltech Simulations are also partnering together for their upcoming U-2 Dragonlady addon as well as their upcoming XB-70 Valkyrie!
Blackbird Simulations/SHRIKE Simulations
The other exciting development is that we recently wrapped up audio for Blackbird/Shrike Simulation’s F-86F-30 Sabre for MSFS! This beautiful bird received an incredibly authentic sound pack, using custom high quality sounds and with the help of a freshly rebuilt F-86F-30 and it’s owner, Doug Matthews. I am thrilled with the way this project turned out and am excited to see how the community responds… you can fly it starting March 30th! We’ll share some audio highlights on this as we get closer to release day.
Top Mach Studios
Top Mach Studios, known for their exceptionally high-quality rendition of the F-22 Raptor, are creating several products this year - starting with the B-2 Spirit! I am excited to formally announce that Top Mach Studios is partnered with Echo 19 for all of their aircraft development (B-2, T-7A, SU-30, YF-23)! The B-2 is a very challenging aircraft to design for, but I am confident that we’ll produce something that is memorable for the fan’s of this mighty bird! The opportunity to work with Top Mach on their products has been amazing, I am looking forward to the future that is in store!
High quality audio for a lot of the classified aircraft is hard to come by, naturally, so we will need to be creative to supply our audiences with an exceptional audio experience. This goes for historic aircraft as well, like the XB-70 and U-2 that are being developed by Miltech Simulations. example of his work hes going to put SimAcoustics to shame https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqoyfhsaJp8&t=8s
