The moon looks good. But the rest of the picture looks horrible. I haven’t tried MSFS at night yet. Does it really look that bad? Honest question. Not trying to bash anything.

Let’s just say there is some opportunity for improvement with the night lighting…particularly in the middle distance.

In the game, the Moon and Sun are around 1.5 degrees in diameter. In reality, they should be around 0.5 degrees in the sky.

Furthermore, the Moon in game always has Tycho crater closest to the horizon, and the Ocean of Storms is always at the about 8 o’clock position. In reality, the moon should have its north pole pointing rougly towards our north pole at all times. As it appears now, the Moon seems to rotate in the sky to maintain Tycho crater on the “bottom” (closest to the horizon). It’s really bad once you notice it. All these photos have the Moon rotated the same. They couldn’t even get this right.
