PMDG is developing a -100 and -400 for MSFS 20204. I’d check out their news releases for more info on these forthcoming products.

What about a -100, a -200, a -300 and a -400 for both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024?

I’m not sure Asobo will do it, it would be a tragedy the 747-400 is not in career mode. So we are banking on PMDG career but don’t hold your breath.
It would be nice to have Asobo tweak the 400 supertanker into a passenger variant for career mode
I expected to wish for the 747-400 passenger variant and other 747-400 variants to be developed for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.

True, but I believe they have other priorities like getting the 747-8 up to 2020 standard and properly functioning career mode in general, amongst the millions of other things that need fixing
The PMDG -100 and -400 is coming to 2024 only. I am not aware of other developments related to this aircraft, and most devs are switching to 2024 only for new developments that are just starting.
I asked Captain Sim to create the 747 Captain with all the -100, -200 and -300 variants for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 through a forum and no one responded nor did anyone respond to some my other forums.

It takes years of work to make a high quality systems simulation of a jet airliner. It’s not just “ok we’ll do it check back in six months”. It requires a team of devs, and quite a lot of expense and time.
This reminds me that Bluebirds Simulations has taken several years to create the 757, hasn’t it?
Yes, it’s due sometime this year. The PMDG 747 is due either late 2026 or more likely 2027.

It’s unclear, but look for either product in late 2026 or early 2027. Aircraft developers don’t like being held to specific due dates due to potential delays. Lots of progress has yet to be made. I’d recommend looking up PMDG’s press releases for more info.
By the way, should Bluebird Simulations’ 757 be released soon before fall of 2026?

It would be great if they create the 747-400 for MSFS and the 727 and A310 plus a Tristar

It’s Captain Sim, I doubt it’ll be anywhere near high quality lol. Why would you even want that when PMDG is working on one already

PMDG are working on both the 747-100 and 747-400 simultaneously. From what Robert Randazzo said they are both at a similar level of development and IIRC they will be the next releases after the 737s are released, I expect later this year.
