Another one for the “I’ll wait to see how FS2024 looks first” category. If they update it to support FS2024 sometime after launch, I’ll be interested.

Looks very promising. Seems to improve the bad lighting of clouds, which has bothered me since day one.

This is going to have to be cheap for me to get interesting. What is the difference between that and simply changing arpc values?

It looks pretty good, but with a whole new sim releasing in less than two months, there’s no way I’d buy anything like this. Same for scenery add-ons. I intend to completely delete MSFS 2020 once 2024 is out, assuming everything goes well and my preferred aircraft are able to be used with it.

There are mtiple functions that you can perform that can modify to your liking. Modifications that can improve both the weather, atmosphere and ground.

We wouldn’t announce this unless we were confident we could support 2024. In fact there may be additional features we may be able to support.

Would be a first-day-buy for me. Like the other three apps from Rex there has been continuous development from the beginning (however Real Global Airport Textures could be more…I always thought of integration of Worldwide Airports HD) so I’m confident for future support in MSFS 2024. Looking forward to this!

It’s another one of those addons which has great potential but the core issues of the live weather need fixing first, like the data injected being completely wrong to start with and bugged at the moment. The way it tweaks the colours is really nice and if it can add proper atmospheric haze to live weather that will change the overall scene for the better. Definitely has potential but I fear adding it to an already broken feature is like trying to stick a bandaid over a broken arm. Either way wish the devs success with the release and development.

@REXGameStudios will this software be compatible with VR?

Negativity be ■■■■■■, it’s great to see devs fixing the issues with the game and enhancing the flying experience.

It’s just as it was in FSX/P3D where we needed to buy REX (clouds), HIFI Simulation (Weather) and TOGA Projects (shader tweaks but not really required as much other 2) to get the best out of the environment state.

We don’t think twice about buying addon airports or planes. The ‘core sim’ is but a framework for the 3rd party devs to enhance upon.

It’s entirely optional, nobody is forcing our hand to buy such products and the more devs that make products, and compete, the better it will become.

I do like the look of this, feels more realistic. The fact it is saying “loading preset X” worries me a little bit. I wouldn’t want to have to load different presets for different situations, but hope there’s an automatic mode that renders on the basis of prevailing atmospheric conditions.

That would be hard to do, this tool is about to change MSFS settings/atmosphere Values that arent acessible to us users.
They have to change values that are executed “live” in the code, stored on the Memory (RAM). Therefore, the user can make “presets” that he likes.

The difficulty would be to find a setting that fits everything, the rule is usually for such tools “less is more”.

Im happy that we can get some more ozone, scattering, cloud color adjustmens, etc.

Yes the sim, look so much better with these adjustments in my opinion.

Like these,

Looks way more realistic to me.

What did you use here, cheat engine?

Yes. This will probably get deleted. I wish not, then Asobo can just use these values. I think much more realistic.
