The sea waves are almost nonexistent on the surface of the seas, and there are slight changes in their display if you increase the wind, but I’m using real weather, and with it, the sea surface looks smooth as glass. This is even more frustrating because when the simulator was released, the waves were displayed correctly! Additionally, the waves and surf are perfectly displayed on the world map! After the release of beta version 5, I noticed that Asobo had not fixed the water. Is this really not necessary for anyone other than myself?

I can confirm your findings. I ‘ve just checked on windy.com a sea area with 35-40 kts wind and surfaced there with a Kodiac seaplane at about 50 feets high over the wawes (no water landing..). I could see important wawes that, IMO, are a bit undersized considering the wind speed. Flying in real weather with a nosewind of about 35 knots shown on the cockpit instrument too. Considering the waves size I could estimate a wind force of 15-20knots ..not more .I have done a lot of sailing and have a bit of experience on this matter.
My SIM setting for water waves is : HIGH.
Yeah, the sea is completely broken in MSFS 2024. When you compare it to MSFS 2020, you can have a “perfect storm” there, the sea is so rough that is almost white everywhere. In MSFS 2024 is a bit wavy animation on a perfectly calm, blue sea, even with wind 140 kts..
