:white_check_mark: ISSUE DESCRIPTION

  1. Description of the issue:
It looks like an old FS2020 bug, where both eyes are not rendering exactly the same.
For example, in cloudy weather at night, look at some lights in the distance.
When the clouds start to cover those lights, you get one eye to hide the lights by the clouds, while the other eye is showing those lights still.
This gives you The Shinning effect. Very disturbing in VR.
This effect gets affected by tilting the head, where in some occasions, it corrects the issue but only at certain angle.

  2. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
    Fresh install, nothing there.

:white_check_mark: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)
Specially at night, with lights from the ground and cloudy weather.

:white_check_mark: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.

1.Start a flight at night, near a city in cloudy conditions.
2.Fly towards the city lights below the clouds, and observe how the clouds cover some of the lights in the distance in one eye, but not in the other.
3.

Found more info on the issue.

Almost the same thing happens (to me) in FS2020, where titling my head makes part of the contrails disappear. Always on my left eye.

In 2024, I can’t recall contrails, here it’s happening with lights on the ground.
I thought it was only when the clouds start to cover lights in the distance, but I was wrong. Yesterday I could see a road that was illuminated and as I tilted my head, most of those lights where disappearing from my left eye only.
Tilting back to a specific angle, they lights were back again.

Could you try this exercise, please?
Cheers.

I have this issue since the beginning of 2020. Most of aircraft lights in the air are not rendered until i tilt my head sideways. Extremely annoying and still not fixed!

Please vote this up so it could get their attention to fix. VR was never their priority but still being hopeful.

Maybe its more promising to contact Pimax directly. Maybe they could push this topic by contacting Asobo…because I had this effect since my First VR flight in msfs2020

I’m not using garb… I mean Pimax anymore.

Quest3 here.

Thats OK, Im in love with my 8kx  I will contact Pimax. We should use every possible path to get it done. This bug kills Immersion completely and I get headache due to this

Edit: I wrote to contact Pimax because they are Kind of the official VR partner
