this is for certain not a first time topic, but nonetheless I appreciate your help.
I am in search for the ultimate, most scenic, most beautiful, coolest, coziest […] airfield available.
I have checked out over hundred smaller and bigger airports/airfields, but the search for the holy grail continues (and it might never end, but let’s try).
So let’s set a few parameters:
“GA” airfield/strip; meaning too small for jet-powered airliners
unpaved runway(s) welcome
can be anywhere on the globe
it can be a 2020 development, as long as it works well in 2024
well done ground textures (no hard/unpolished overlaps, edges, unrealistic colours)
objects with good textures (“realistic”, weathered etc.)
navaids/approaches not mandatory
I think that should be enough guideline, now I am eager to see your suggestions
I think Pilots 2NC0 is my best suggestion but it looked much better in FS2020 quite a while back. In FS2024, the surrounding textures are not good imo. There is another airport near Lynchburg VA but I cant remember its code at the moment and I always wished the runway had been given a more personalized look. My final suggestion is KSZP by Just Flight. It was great in FS2020 and its still not bad but could use updating.
There are also lots of strips embedded in PG that can sometimes be landed at and other times will attempt to crash you…you never know until you try. It is my wish that I could identify all of them and then maybe some developer would start making them landable.
