Throttle 1 and 2 mapped to the same lever should work as long as the plane is reacting to it. I’ve had to do this with Logitech TQ for some twin prop planes.

All flights start with the “map controls to cowl flap..” message. This can be awknowledged by moving your nacelles up and then down by a few degrees, so the aircraft checks that both keys are correctly assigned.
