You’d have thought they would of made sure the servers would cope. Now I’m nervous about the state of the sim!
It‘s a ■■■■■■■■ and I am not even surprised.
How should they have known how many people have preordered this and want to play the game on day one. Do we really expect them to count the number of sales and prepare the servers?
I’ll let you know if I ever get it to run. In a queue to even log in, game has never gotten past 97%. MS servers are down apparently now.
Same here, loading for almost 3,5 hours now and at 97%.
The thing is, from what you hear you can‘t even look forward to going past 97% because then the game will freeze in the character creation and once you jump over that hurdle you won‘t have all aircraft available which should be there. And if they are there, you have Lego graphics because they are streamed from these amazing servers.
It’s an absolute embarrassment and the worst launch of a game I’ve ever seen. Totally abysmal.
I am in a queue saying there re too many users. How can it be too many users for a digital product? If they can‘t cope, maybe they should have limited the sales. Or at least stage the Gamepass release to be three days later
I bought the Aviator Edition and took four days of vacation for this ■■■■.
No need to overreact, if you think this is the worst launch ever, you’ve not seen much. Give them some time and it will be all good
Nothing wrong with having decent expectations for a launch were they would be clearly able to anticipate the amount of users.
Oh, I’ve seen ■■■■ launches in my time, but, like 2020, the preload only preloaded the game launcher - why not preload the the game data and then patch if needed?
People HAD to pre-buy it. Unless you really wanted that one plane, this is why (and possibly other reasons to come) that you don’t pre-pay for games, just about ever. Unless you have game pass and didn’t pay extra for it, just wait a bit and make them deliver something that WORKS before you give money.
I never had this kind of lauch of a game in my life.
One of the biggest computer compagnies in the world with the biggest servers can not launch a game. Why all the users in one day and not spread over a few days? Is that self-overestimation?
I hold my heart when it comes to the final game play, if i ever can install this game off course.
I’m gonna shoot for Thanksgiving weekend at this point to purchase and download . I’m quite disappointed for the community as a whole. I took a wait and see approach and it seems my fears came true. Of course they will get it right… but so many people were looking forward to today!
They collect the money first and then they look what to do with the customers.
This launch is an absolute disgrace!!
I can’t believe I launched this game over 4 hours ago and I still haven’t played it.
Well, actually yes I do!
It’s how 2020 went as well.
And It’s probably not even servers. The simple reality of the internet handling this many people downloading at once… there’s only so much that can be done.
Remember a few nights ago how well Netflix handled the big fight? Yeah, same story.
2020 release was 100x better i could play at release day at least… with some problem but i could.
