Hi everyone,
I got a question regarding the Flaps and speed brakes control on my Thrustmaster Quadrant Add-On Airbus Edition.
After I done a factory reset calibration on my Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition Throttle, the Flaps and speed brakes control seem affected as well which made the Flaps turned from 0 to full by just pulling the Flaps lever from 0 to 1 position that skipped all Flaps 1,2,3. Same issue happened on the speed brakes side.
Would anyone has a solution on this or has the way on how to reset the Thrustmaster Quadrant Add-On Airbus Edition into factory setting I think that will help too.
Thank you very much and happy flying.
ohhh i would like to buy them too⌠but here they are nowhere to be found

Hi,
I am having exactly the same issue and am looking for a solution, too.
Hi, I just got it fixed again! You need to factory calibrate again but this time also move the flaps and speed brake levers, too and move them to the same position as the thrust levers for each calibration step! Then it was fixed again for me.

this one should be pinned. It worked.
Thanks a lot
I have the Thrustmaster Airbus Addon, most works, but the âbrake low, medium and highâ doesn´t work as ist should, nothing happens. I tried the factory attitude, but no effect.
Any solutions? Thanks. I have the A320NX mod.
Did you try what @Heinrich82 said?
Are the brakes (low, medium, high) working then also?
When you calibrate the Addon, you have to move the levers at the same detents as you do the throttle lever.
- So when the throttle lever is on full TOGA detents, Spoilers should be fully retracted, and flaps retracted. Press the two red buttons.
- Then move the throttle backward once to MCT detent, move the spoilers back to first detent, and set flaps lever to 1. Then press the two red buttons.
- Then move the throttle backward once to CL detent, move the spoilers back to second detent, and set flaps lever to 2. Then press the two red buttons.
- Then move the throttle backward once to IDLE detent, move the spoilers back to third detent, and set flaps lever to 3. Then press the two red buttons.
- Then unlatch the lock and move the throttle backward once to full REVERSE, move the spoilers back to full deploy, and set flaps lever to FULL. Then press the two red buttons.
This is to ensure the calibration captures the positions of the spoilers and the flaps lever as well. Otherwise, if youâre only only doing the calibration on the throttle quadrant while youâre not moving the spoilers and flaps. The hardware will think that the spoilers and flaps are fully calibrated for the full range while being just on the fully retract position. Thus giving you full deployment when moving the lever slightly.

Just received my TCA add-on after a long wait.
The two main levers work fine out of the box with A32NX FBW.
But having problems with landing gear switch fluttering and autobrake knob not working.
- I have never needed to trim the rudder while flying the A320. So I have repurposed the Rud Trim sprung twist knob. It now works perfectly for setting autopilot altitude. Twist right to raise flight level or left to lower as per ATC instructions.
- Now, if only there is a way to bind the autobrake knobâs five notches to the Nav Display five ranges, things will be perfect.

With the TCA Officer Pack Airbus Edition on PC DX11 You just have to remove the following two control surfaces in the standard configuration:
Otherwise at each passage in the options the spoilers and flaps go to the maximum.

MODERATOR EDIT:
Hello
I have this same problem with the ThrustMaster Add-Ons.
How do I remove these two controllers from msfs 20 options?
Best regards.
Bonjour,
Jâai ce mĂŞme problème avec les Add-Ons du ThrustMaster.
Comment supprimes-t-on ces deux contrĂ´leurs dans les options de MSFS 20 ?
Bien cordialement.
you remove the entries âaxis of the shuttersâ and âaxis of the spoilersâ
Thank you very much for your answer
I have seen some older reviews of the Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant on Youtube that mention several bugs associated with the parking brake, gear, and spoiler levers. Have these glitches have been corrected?
These glitches have been corrected for over a year now⌠I think most people who are still experiencing the issues are because of incorrect bindings.
The thing is, you canât manually bind the parking brake, gear, and spoiler lever. Even if you match it with the official mappings.
All you need to do (and this is what you should have been doing for the past year) is to delete any custom profile that you currently have, and start from the âDefaultâ profile. This default profile has all the necessary binding and coding to make the parking brake, gears and spoiler lever works. So once you set to Default Profile, you should only Duplicate this default profile and make any necessary adjustments to it. But stay away from touching the Parking Brake and gear bindings. As long as you leave them alone, theyâll work.
Good day. Are Thrustmaster SATA cables any different from regular SATA cables ?. I bought a used Add on for Throttle Airbus, but the previous owner lost the two original hoses. After connecting regular SATA cables, all the buttons on the flap and air brake panel work, but I have a problem with calibrating the flap and brake levers. The flap lever detects only the 0,1,2 position and the airbrakes only work from the 3/4 to 1/2 position. The throttle is calibrated right Both the drivers on the computer and the firmware are updated to the latest.
I made a video to better illustrate the situation. The device from the flaps and brakes is swapped due to the fact that I have some short SATA cables.
