Under Controls I have the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Default displayed, I have tried to adjust the sensitivities but nothing seems to work, as soon as I take off, the aircraft (Club) wanders to the right and is extremely unstable (wandering all over the place) and when I try to adjust with the joystick, it totally loses it and I crash. Impossible to fly an aircraft, which I think is the main reason for buying this new flight simulator.
My Thrustmaster works great with Elite Dangerous and other games I have.
If anyone is using the same joystick and has got it working, please tell me your sensitiviy and control settings.
Anybody else having the same problem?

Hi Lucas,
Was your flight stick automatically recognized and your controls assigned for you? I’m not sure what you issue is but could be two different things trying to control the same axis or maybe the wrong axis bound to the controls. Who knows but hope I can help you get to the bottom of this.
Yes my Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X was automatically recognised and controls assigned by FS 2020 .
After posting I went on youtube and there seems to be more people with this problem, evidently the control settings are set too aggressively no matter witch slider settings you select in the control, a pilot on you tube tried a number of different flight manoevres and came to the conclusion that it was a programming fault and that the left, right, up and down joystick component has an aggressive input no matter how the sliders are set either -100 or +100 or even 0

Well I think I may have solved my problem, after looking at the Control Menu and other Menu’s, I discovered that I had a setting called Legacy, and in stead of Realistic flight, it was set on Intermediate, so I changed them to what I believe is the default, Modern and Realistic, and I was amazed when I fired up a Flight, it worked! I could now control my Aircraft with my Joystick, took a flight around my Home town. It seemed to work a lot better, it still was not perfect but a majour improvement, may have to try some more tweaking and hope that a future update adds more clarity.

I have more or less the same situation.
I try to set the Throttle Axis because, when I push the Throttle forward the power goes down and vice versa. And I want opposite.
So, I click Reverse Axis and in the Controls Menu it seems ok. However, when I come back there it is wrong again. It looks like it is not saved. Restarting MSFS did not work either.
Have a nice flight!
I have the same controls. And all aircrafts behave kind of like you describe it. First it drags to the left, I correct with rudder, then it starts dragging to the right. I still manage to take off though.
