This Curved Works for me after the new Patch, i can CL at the last rate and all other works to.
Trying your settings, but i didnāt get the second detent to match the equivalent in-game.
With this setting, the quadrant is locked into the second detent which should be FLX MCT ingame but yeah itās not. And i didnāt get the detens match to the ingame, before the update it wasnāt a problem at all.
I chose the lock so that it locks in at the first A / THR and the second CL.
If it works better then please post here
Hello. Like the others, after the update, I ran into poor quadrant performance due to changes in the sensitivity of the curves. After sitting for a couple of hours, it turned out to perfectly adjust the quadrant for the A320 aircraft. All positions are clearly fixed in the right places. I also made a second profile for all other aircraft, because they do not have fixed positions, but uniform movement of the throttle in the entire plane (suitable for 1, 2, 4 motor planes), in the profile it will also be necessary to adjust the left lever No. 11 to 1 and 2 engines in the sim, and the right lever No. 13 to 3 and 4 engines. On screenshot # 1 there is a profile for Airbus A320, on screenshot # 2 there is a profile for other aircraft.
P.S. Perhaps each quadrant is unique in its own way, and it will need a little adjustment for each, but I do not think that the numbers will vary much.
The success of these curves depends on the calibration of the two throttle axis. Some may have a minor difference at idle position, some a larger on their device.
At the moment I try the hardware calibration routine from Thrustmaster (A320 and TCA Quadrant). It calibrates the end positions very well, but the unequal position at idle is extremely tricky to fix!
Since October, Iāve wasted hours in optimizing the TCA Quadrant.
Tried those varying curves above and none of them work on my hardware. This is as close as I can get on my hardware. I can get the Climb detent to match up perfectly but the Flex detent is still just about 1% off in game. I can get it to sit in the flex detent if I just barely push it into the bottom of the detent on the hardware. If I push it all the way into the detent, then the in game throttle is 1% above the flex detent (96% instead of 95%).
This is incredibly annoying and stupid that Asobo would release a patch that breaks it so much that everyone has to have different curves just to get close to what itās supposed to be when it worked perfectly fine before.
Meanwhile I managed to make the engine switches working but I canāt use the throttle. I do not know how to make them work again, didnāt chnage any settings
I managed to get it work based on the screenshots shared from vtlsg couple of posts above. But taxiing is almost impossible with these curvesā¦ The sensitivity between idle and the CLB detent is so steepā¦ And the misalignment between the throttles is there, even though that steep curve is annoying me way more.
This mapping does not work with yesterdays Update 1.10.11.0 and the vanilla A320neo. Any other suggestions?
Try this oneā¦ The Magnetos were the key to me getting it to work in the Vanilla a320 a couple weeks ago. Iām still thinking the toggle fuel valves are not needed, but never went back to remove them and retest.
That said, I have not tried the vanilla a320 since yesterdayās patch. I stick to the A32Nx which works fine with the latest dev version.
Yes! Yes, yes, yes! You made my day! The engine switches finally work! Thank you very much!
Will give a try thanks!
I feel like also when it comes to sensitivity the values between the detents should be given their own sensitivity sliders. For example the idle to CL, CL to FLX etc. I feel like this would make it so much easier to set up and configure!
I got all the detents working with this setup. Donāt worry about the CL not lining up in the cockpit. Even though they donāt look like itā¦ It actually clicks on the detent and the engine is getting the correct thrust modes for all of the detents.
For me works too
Theres a new Driver and Firmware for the TCA Quadrant
available from today, 12.Nov.
It doesnāt fix the problem of async values of the thrust leversā¦ ā¦
The new firmware actually makes the issue worse. It changes the reported position of the thrust levers along the axis and takes away resolution at the bottom. In other words, my physical levers were no longer at the bottom when the 1.60 firmware says they are. This not only threw off the sensitivity curves in FS2020 even more, but took away even more of the reverse thrust that was already missing with the FS2020 update.
I reverted to firmware 1.56 for now. I want as much resolution along the axis as I can possibly get to make up for the extreme loss of resolution that FS2020 is giving.
Iām not sure if recalibrating the throttle would improve firmware 1.60 or not, but Iām not willing to try it after people in the other thread said recalibrating failed and left them without any of the virtual buttons.
I tested the new 1.60 firmware and except the change for the test interface, nothing has changed about sensitivity.
And yes you are right, when recalibrating, some virtual buttons are not set with the given procedure but they are not needed for the game and it solved the fact that axes were not the same.
Iāll see if I can update my firmware and make the new adjustments and share it here if Iām successful.
