Tobii Eye Tracker FS2024 not working

Hi All,

When the Tobii Eye Tracker CTD’s I installed the workaround which is the opentrack and tobii games hub. That worked okay, but wasn’t ideal. Now that Asobo have implemented a fix to the CTD’s, I’d like to try the native support in the simulator. However, no matter what I do, nothing happens when I move my head. I’ve tried Alt 7, tried going into the hardware settings for the tobii within the controls, and have no idea what i’m doing there. Anyone know why it might not be working? Do I need to uninstall the games hub and open track? I’m not running the open track when testing so i’m not sure why it’s not working. Seems to work with the workaround when I run it and start it.

Any suggestions?

Also, anyone know how to tweak the hardware settings? There’s no indication at all what any of the axis are for, and the slider is either left or right. I’ve tried both on one axis and still nothing.

I have exactly the same problem as you. I hope someone can shed some light on this.

In Opentrack is a setting you have to activate in order that the normel MSFS tracking is working again

Thanks. I’ve just uninstalled opentrack and I think it’s put it back to MSFS anyway, but I’m now only getting eye tracking. I prefer head tracking to eye tracking. I can’t work out this hardware settings.

Anyone know how to turn off eye tracking, and have just head tracking?

I am exactly in the same boat.

Hardly recognizes any head movement.

Some explanation on how to adjust the settings would be nice.

Hopefully someone can work this out and share with us.

If you had Tobii setup in 2020 you can manually copy your settings to 2024 (bypassing that… that thing of an interface) by following these instructions:

is the game crashing anymore if you go into Tobii settings in MSFS2024?

It shouldn’t be, that was one of the fixes from yesterday’s patch.

I found a workoround on Tobii’s discord channel. Under flight-sims. works perfect. I can fly again  Tobii Gaming

This may be the solution to your problem.

I just had the same problem (though with MSFS 2020). Installed OpenTrack but then Tobii would not work any longer without it. You need to make changes in regedit.
