Of course I could do that, but then I’d have to do it for every airplane separately again. This is basically one of the QuickViews that has a separate section in every camera.cfg file. So why should I do that again for each airplane? It’s not as if this is a universal view that you save once and then it works for every plane.
I see no reason to kill off a perfectly good function that’s been in the game from the beginning and which still even has control bindings available. It’s not as if I ask them to add something new.
Just a work-around suggestion if you didn’t want to wait for a fix.
I don’t think it was a kill off, it was probably an accidental result of some other change.
Amazing! Was working in the early stages of MSFS - and now it takes months, if not years, to fix it??? Don’t understand. This makes the whole vfr flight unpleasant. So please fix it!!!
I believe things like this should be hot-fixed. No need to wait for a SU.
I had mine set to Toggle, so I could see over the dash while preparing for final.
I used to create special Landing pilot views for all my “Better Camera” mods, but haven’t bothered since earlier this year.
According to the limited response in this thread it looks like not enough people are actuallty using (and thus missing) this functionality. Don’t think it is ever coming back.
Well, I took the plunge and upgraded to Windows 11 tonight.
Now the Toggle Landing Cockpit mode is working again. It’s still assigned to the same
button on my Saitek X-52, only now it works.
