  1. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

nothing in community folder
2. Description of the issue:

No matter what I do, no matter what button I assign, I can’t get the toolbar opened in VR.

This is espacially sad, since the mission window is disappearing when changing from 2D to VR. And then there is no way of getting it back.

And even though I have a binding in the Controls part of the settings menu, it is not shown in the VR section.

I dug through the labyrinth that is the new menu system and mapped a keyboard key to toggle the toolbar in VR. When in the VR cockpit, though, it doesn’t seem to work consistently. It turns on randomly and then I can’t seem to turn it off again.

I really need a tutorial for this sim.

Yes, no VR toolbar available - no matter which key on keyboard or button on Yoke I assign to toggle the VR toolbar.

Help would be greatly appreciated to make VR more usable.

Yes. VR functionnality is botched currently . Toggle VR toolbar key binding says (?) in the VR section when it’s properly mapped per peripheral.

I had this problem today too. At one point I had the same button bound also to toggle general control panel or something like that, then if I closed that other panel the toolbar was visible in vr.
But after unbinding that other toggle the vr toggle is not working.

I am having the same problem as OP. Same hardware setup as them and Windows 24H2

Putting the same button in both slots on my yoke worked for me. I can now toggle the toolbar on / off in VR.

Toolbar is shown with ALT-T. You can change this in the key bindings.

In theory yes, but it does not work consistently at all. Sometimes it turns on, but then cannot turn off again (so it’s not a toggle?). In fact I think I have never been able to turn it off.

Sometimes it does not even turn on.

Go back to 2D and the handlebar thing by hovering mouse at the top is also missing. Deeply broken IMO.

You are right, sometimes it doesn’t work. In 2D it work for me in the beginning but it didn’t now.

I have the same issue, as reported by OP

Additionally I think that trying to open it in VR then breaks it in 2D so you literally cannot get at the toolbar buttons until restarting flight.

Tried that and got a CTD by the way (separate issue). Fun fun!

So, in 2D flying the toolbar kind of hides until you scroll your mouse up to it. Well, for me, when I’m in VR I press my toolbar binding and I see nothing. Then, while still looking straight ahead, swipe my mouse cursor from the lower portion of my view to the upper portion, and the toolbar appears when the mouse cursor moves over it. Just like the action in 2D. Quirky, but seems to be a temporary mitigation. Does this work for any of you?
