Anyone else unable to play the low-altitude challenges?
For me, the countdown numbers just stack on top of each other with the word GO and remain on the screen, and no points are being collected no matter how low I fly.

yup, same here, now trying a restart after the maverick install, see if that fixes anything.
Edit, nope, a restart gave me the same thing. However, the first flight i did WITH the numberglitch, i did get points… by crossing the dam and following the ai, but waaaay below the ghosty…

same visual bug but I was able to get points just fine at each course… weird!

I am getting the same. Very annoying. I tried removing and reinstalling it but didn’t help.
Update: I tried installing the latest NVIDIA drivers but still no joy.
Update 2: Turning ON “Menu Animations” worked to solve that…but…I turned that off for other reasons. It’s a workaround for now.

I play in VR and no trouble here
Seems I am one of the lucky ones who did not get this error.
But a friend of mine does:
Does not take me a wonder that this DLC turns out to get a bug fest as well.
It’s really hard to stay optimistic after SU9, WU9 and now the Top Gun DLC

After looking into it, this bug seems to be tied to having “Menu Animations” turned off.
We’ve logged it, but in the meanwhile a workaround is to go to Options → General Options → Accessibility → Set Menu Animations to “ON”.
Make sure this is set to “ON”
Please let us know if you continue to experience this issue after toggling it on.

Just turned the menu animation OFF → Bug manifests.
May I assume that Asobo need better (Alpha) and Beta testing?
