that seems very unlikely.
The SR72 concept has been around for a decade, it was not designed for TG2
The Darkstar however was designed for TG2 inspired by the SR72

the DLC also has a carrier and another plane from the movie, based on the trailer they released last year.
I know about that mod and also meant it 
anyway it’s not that frustrating for the developer - as I know thealx he knew that this aircraft is “Beta” and so likely left it broken for now until the “final” version drops. Why shall he fix something that will become partly obsolete two weeks later?
He even wrote that in the description btw.
I read that VRS - Rhino (FA-18F) is on the fence on coming into MSFS – “The Rhino will be released first for P3D v4+. Because FS2020 has licensing limitations with regard to weapon systems (and military aircraft in general), it is not known when, if at all the Rhino will be available for that platform. FSX will likely not be supported by Rhino.”
What is the licensing limitation here? MSFS does allow for military aircraft for sure
Easy to answer: Microsoft forces creators to have proper licenses in place, in this case from Boeing to upload stuff onto the market place servers.
Some devs avoid this and use different licensing models which don’t need the permission of the real aircraft manufacturers but these license type are not allowed.
Another reason to at least not release to the market place is that weapons are prohibited because the sim has an “e” rating (everyone), so the market place is at least a no go area for VRS.
Anyway they could release stuff outside of the market place but that would lock out all Xbox users immediately.
So what they write is in general wrong (as one can see there is stuff like the F-16 around) but most VRS features would anyway be INOP on a market place release.
The Maverick DLC will be released tomorrow - along with the trailer! We will spend the very first part of the Dev Q&A tomorrow talking about it in detail, and then dedicate the rest to our regular Q&A.

They 100% would not do a market place release, and sell direct through their site just they have with the FSX and P3d Products. Once the Rhino releases, i dont see why they wouldn’t move on to this sim especially with the amount of money they could potentially make considering the user base for this sim over P3d.

Finishing up now. Nothing too radical compared to the current version, mainly some new plane models, more people and collidable hangars.
