Top Mach Studios: Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor

Will the premium version have G Vapor and wingflex?

G vapor yes. Wingflex probably not. The Raptor has a load suppression system that uses the ailerons to counteract wing loading and therefore there won’t be much noticeable wing flex under heavy loading. We have modeled the load suppression animation.

What about the afterburners?

Afterburner effects will be modeled. As will nozzle animations and a number of other goodies.

Your model’s navigation screens are so much better and more useful. Please don’t change anything there, as in the useless model at the Marketplace at the moment.

There will be customized moving map displays with typical navigation data presented as well as a “hidden” feature to allow you to use the Garmin G3000 route planning interface for en route flight plan management, shooting approaches, etc… We realize it breaks the immersion a little to use it, but decided it’s better than having to manage and set flight plans prior to flight sessions. There are a lot of other features that will be included as well to enable full featured autopiloting, communication, and navigation. And we’ll preserve the live traffic display capability from the freeware version (unfortunately, the game still does not support display of AI traffic or other player traffic). More details on that later.

Hi Everyone! Our web site with more photos and preliminary information about the premium F-22 product is now live. Come have a look:

It looks excellent! Will it be available from any outlets other than the Marketplace? I

Thank you! Great question. Our intention is to launch through the Marketplace and then expand to a 3rd party seller site, esp. for upgrades that won’t be supported in the in-game Marketplace. Please have a look at the FAQ on the web site for more details.

Thanks for the reply. I guess it will be better to wait for a 3rd party vendor then. :+1:

Saw several planes around PHNL this afternoon that identify themselves as “F22E” and one other than ID’d as “F22D” - very curious, as I rarely see more than one F-22 around there most days.

This is excellent news. Will be buying yours but not on the marketplace.

Looks insane. That is some DCS level immersion right there.

hope you can release it faster, there is already a awful F22 in the marketplace, and a lot people bought it. its a very bad thing that someone uses a low quality plane to steal the market for quality developers like you guys…

It’s unfortunate, but the last thing we want to do now is rush and release something that’s not up to our standards, or everyone’s expectations.

As a matter of fact, releasing as soon as possible after such a low-quality release would probably be detrimental.

Let people steam a bit with that, understand how bad it is, and then release a quality product when they realize that updates that significantly improve the bad one will never be released and the want for a new good one has gone back up.

Why buy this when a way better Bredok3D F-22 version is available right now? Why wait until this release when you can fly right away with your own Bredok3D F-22 today?

Can’t tell if you’re making a joke or being serious, but if serious, we’ll just say that we think the reviews that are starting to come out for the Bredok3D F-22 speak for themselves.

People are actually wasting their time reviewing that?

Also, I’m 99.9% sure they were sarcastic.

Yep, several youtube reviews out there. Agreed about wasting the time (and $) reviewing that product. Unfortunate. There were discussions in comments about how to obtain refunds, the lack of quality control by the marketplace managers, and some pointed remarks about our freeware offering in comparison.
