The YF-23 Grey Ghost/Black Widow announced by Top Mach Studios is in the final development stages and could be released soon for the marketplace. And later for the XBOX.
The YF-23 lost the competion for the “Advanced Tactical Fighter” program of the USAF to its counterpart the F-22 Raptor.
This addon is THE new definition and standard for MSFS FBW handling for fighter addons - IMO.
I cannot wait for the F-22 and T-7 to be updated with Top Mach’s latest FBW flight model handling technology. I will finally be able to enjoy flying Top Mach fighter addons - starting with this YF-23!
This addon is probably in line for updates like any other new addon. However, the flight model control throughout the envelope I typically fly fighters in (270-400 kts) is an unbelievable and long awaited achievement - without having to disable FBW in the addon.
Today is truly a great day in the history of MSFS - at least for me.
MSFS 2024 version dropped in Marketplace today so I picked it up. Only had time for a quick flight while eating lunch, but it’s certainly visually appealing (most beautiful modern fighter ever IMHO), and dang fun to fly fast and low.
Anyone else having trouble with the brakes not stopping the aircraft after it is rolling? Even with a threshold landing, I keep rolling off the opposite end of the runway.
I picked this up yesterday (in 2020!) ….and read that its supposed to also give you access to the 2024 Native model free of charge - but not showing up in my 2024 yet?
Anybody else had this issue …does it take a few days to port over things?
I’m interested in this plane. How fast does it go? What altitude can it achieve? What runway length is required to take off and land? Is the autopilot any good? Does it compare favorably to CJ Simulations Eurofighter, if you’ve used that one. Please pardon the questions, but I want to make sure what it can do before spending a lot of $ on this. Thanks.
How does this plane compare to Top Mach’s F-22 Raptor in MSFS 2024? Trying to understand the differences, speeds, capabilities, flyability, relative pros and cons between Top Mach F-22 Raptor, Top Mach YF-23, and CJ Simulations Eurofighter Typhoon before dropping ~$30 a pop just to “try” it.
