"7500"

Anybody seen the movie 7500 on amazon prime? It’s interesting because it’s in a a319 but looks pretty much like the cockpit of our 320. Actually looks closer to flybywire’s. Great movie. Wonder what happens if you change the squawk code to 7500 hehe

We should have the option to see who’s squawking what, so we can intercept with the 3rd party Fighters and lead you in :stuck_out_tongue:

If you do that on VATSIM I’m pretty sure they’ll boot you off the network

Don’t these guys have any sense of humor?
Furthermore MSFS is a simulator, so why not?

It’s literally in the terms of service, yes.

VATSIM is a multiplayer shared-world network (so your in-world flight decisions affect how ATC players route other planes around you), and simulating an emergency like a hijacking is not considered within the spirit of how the members of the VATSIM community like to play together.

(I’m saying “play” and “player” which might make some simmers mad, but let’s not forget our hobby is ultimately entertainment. )

Same thing on IVAO, and i believe PE as well

Yep I believe 7500 is banned from Vatsim. 7600 idk, best excuse for „i dont wanna talk to you“… but 7700 is common when people practise „normal“ emergencies.

If flying IFR with the AI ATC, you get yelled at for not being on your assigned code and eventually they cancel your clearance  .

In real life, probably you will have fighters escorting you if you are in air or police if you are on the ground, in simulator, I think nothing will happen, once we don’t have atc with real people. If you play in vatsim or Ivao probably they will punish you for that unless you say that you are practicing some emergency procedures.
